Deene Park lies within the Weiland Valley. The ancestral home of the former Earls of Cardigan, the most famous was James Brudenell 7th Earl of Cardigan 1797-1868, know historically from, The Crimean War, at the Battle of Balaclava on 25th October 1854, made famous for his heroic brave and courageous actions in The Charge of The Light Brigade. Immortalised by the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson.

The Coach Departs Humberston Gate (Secular Hall) at 10.00 returning to Leicester at 6.00. The Tour will consist of a Private Guided Tour of the House, Cream Tea, and Free Exclusive Time to Stroll and Explore the Beautiful Grounds, Lake and Gardens.
