Saturday 17th December 2022 Our Annual Christmas Walk
200 years ago, the role of faith in peoples’ daily lives, and its place in the community, was prominent, with the nonconformist chapels, between them attracting greater congregations than the Church of England.
Join us for a Christmassy walk round some of the beautiful non-conformist chapels and churches of the nineteenth century and explore the links between faith, politics and society.
Led By Jim McCallum Start: at 10.30am, Meeting point: Statue of Robert Hall, De Montfort Square (off New Walk). Finish: at 12.30pm.
